St Patrick's Church of Ireland, NewrySt Patrick's Church of Ireland, 'The Old Church on the Hill', was first opened in 1578. Built by Sir Nicholas Bagenal, who was the English Lord and Marshal of the Tudor Army in Ireland, it was the first Protestant Church built in Ireland after the Reformation.
